Bar Code Enabled
The Retail System supports bar code scanning at the terminal
to quickly process and add products to the running transaction. Create bar code
labels using model #, product name, UPC Code, and more. The bar code label
layout can be easily modified by using the report designed integrated into the
system. On scan of a product if no match is found, the product lookup is
automatically brought up to allow the clerk to quickly search for and add the
product.
Although the system only supports scanning of products out of
the box, it can be easily extended to allow scanning of customer cards, discount
cards, transaction numbers, and more.
