Teams:
The
teams window in Tradepoint is an easy and intuitive way to group staff members in
teams. Once teams are created, you
can then choose to invite individual teams to staff meetings, mass emails,
projects and every other area of Tradepoint. This saves re-entering staff names
multiply throughout our software
Supplies:
Supplies contains all of the
orders created for products that will not be sold to customers or put as part of
our processes. Office supplies are
the best example: Staplers, filing cabinets, chairs, desks, laptops. All are needed run your company however
none are re-sold to customers. Tradepoint keeps a complete
accounting trail of all supplies purchased and there is never a need to re-enter
purchasing data for your office supplies.
There is such power in our simplicity
Price Lists:
Price lists are great for seasonal sales, or customers that have
discounts for your product, like re-sellers compared to end customers. Simply create a price list scheme that
works for each customer or general store sale and all of your invoices and
pricings will be adjusted accordingly.
No need for adjustments at the till or adjustments on every invoice. Let Tradepoint do all of your
adjusting for you. You can add special price lists and remove price lists at any
time for any type of customer or purchase.
Profiles:
Profiles is the area used to track, create and maintain your TradepointWork Center windows. This area is still under revision and
will be become an extremely powerful feature as Tradepoint grows.
Templates:
Templates are handy for mail
merges or documents that are repeatedly done that require a certain look or
feel. Simply create a template in
word or management file, save that file into Tradepoint and Tradepoint
can then use that file as a template for every following that needs to be
created. A template for a monthly
newsletter is a perfect example for proper template use. Simply specify where your company logo
will be placed on the page, where the company contact information will be placed
on each page and any other important data and Tradepoint will able to use
that established template for any future publications over the web or in
print.
Password
Manager:
It is good practise for every
password you own to be changed once at week or at least once a month. That may sound like a lot, but it is
truly what is suggested by tech experts around the world. Tradepoint allows you to keep track
of hundreds of passwords at a time through our integrated Password Manager
Console. You can even search on the passwords or password groupings to quickly
find a password that you may need.
We take care of the big solutions of your business while attending to
even the smallest details of business management
Expense and Expense
Reporting:
This area is an area that your staff can add their own
expenses for your company. The
expenses are not accounted for until they are approved by someone in management.
Some common expenses would be hotel bills, travel bills and others. Automate every sequence along the
way and then your managers won’t get bogged down with paperwork at the end of
every week or month. No need to
pass invoices to accounting or other manager types. Have your staff submit
accounting expenses themselves and simply approve each expense at the
appropriate time. Once again
another example where a little detail can save your corporation a great deal of
time and money.
Options:
The options window is a window
where you can customize every area of Tradepoint through one location. From this window you can quickly
configure statuses, categories, job titles, window behaviours and every other
section of Tradepoint. Tradpeoint always allows you
multiple ways of doing the same task.
You can press the + button on each window and enter the options section
from each window you are working in, or you can choose to enter the global
options window and configure your Tradepoint all at once. The choice is yours. Quite often a blend of both is performed
when creating and maintaining your systems. This concept is not unlike how you
can adjust accounting data through the Tradepoint General Ledger or through
each client / customer window.
Terminal Settings:
These settings are here to customize some of the invisible areas of
Tradepoint; how often Tradepoint synchronizes in the day, when to
update Tradepoint and so on.
This window will also grow as different Tradepoint schemes can be
implemented.
Help:
The Tradepoint help section not
only carries descriptions on how to use every area of the Tradepoint software,
but also enables you to see where we are as a company in fixing bug reports,
allow you to enter your own bug reports or product suggestions. It even tracks what the latest
downloaded update has changed or improved in your Tradepoint software
package.
