Price Lists and Discount Lists

Price Lists and Discount Lists can be set to any
Lead, Customer, Reseller and Supplier account. Price Lists can be applied
through the account section of an account.
Price
List – Will automatically be applied to any Orders and Invoices
processed on a customer account with the price list attached.
Price Lists
will also push through to any web site driven with one of our Ecommerce
solutions so customers will see their respective pricing once logged into a web
site. This is ideal for resellers, or different types of customers who may be
purchasing from you at a specific rate.
Discount List – A discount list is a
price list that can also be applied to a customer account which will not permit
the ability to apply a discount any further than a discount on a Discount List.
This is ideal for companies who use outside sales forces to not permit any
discounting beyond a specific amount.
For
Example if a price list is applied to a customer’s account giving a 10% discount
to specific groups of products AND a Discount list is also applied to the same
customer’s account with a Discount Floor of 20% then the only additional
discounts that can be applied will be up to 20%.
Any applied discounts
from Price Lists will show in the Discount field one each line item within an
order field as the calculated amount based on an existing price
list.
