When I print Envelopes or Mailing Labels why do
some of the addresses not have a country listed?
There are two possible reason why the country would
be missing.
- The contact's address was not entered in
the correct format.
You can ensure that the contact's address is
formatted correctly by click the Address button on the contact window. This
will open the Enter Address window which will take the different parts of the
address and put them in the correct format when you are finished.
- The contact is in the same country as
your company.
The correct address format as outlined by both US
Postal Service and Canada Post should not include the country if the recipient
is in the same country as the sender. When printing envelopes or mailing
labels in Tradepoint the country code of the contact is compared to the
country code of your Company Division. If they are the same then the country
will not appear in the formatted address.
If you are not getting the results you expect ensure
that these two items have been considered. Check the contact's address and
ensure that it is in the correct format. Check your Company Division's address
and ensure that it is in the correct format and has been entered
correctly.
