Why are some Employees missing from the BDC and Sales Rep list


Why are some Employees missing from the Sales Rep or BDC Rep list on the Quote, Order and Invoice window?

The Employees that appear in the Sales Rep and BDC Rep list on the Quote, Order and Invoice windows are only those employees that are assigned to the Company Division that the Quote, Order or Invoice is being issued by. If the Employee is assigned to a different Company Division, or not assigned to a Company Division, then they will not appear in the list.

How to assign an Employee to a Company Division

  1. Open the Employees window
  2. Bring up the record of the Employee that you want to assign
  3. Click on the Security tab
  4. In the Assigned Company Divisions list, add a new entry and select the appropriate Company Division.
