Suspending a Sale: For busy retail environments
Oct/3/2010
Suspending a sale is ideal for busy retail
environments the steps to suspend a sale are just a few. In the middle of adding
products for a customer click the Suspend button.

A prompt will pop up verifying if the sale should be
suspended. Once the Yes option is clicked the screen will clear
itself.
The suspended sale is being held in the background. Once the sale
is being resumed click the Resume button. A window will pop up with all open
orders in it.

In this case the
default retail customer in this demo system is A & Z Pharmaceutical. Most
live systems will have a default customer setup named Retail Customer or Store
Customer for retail based sales.
Other open orders are also in this demo
system which is why they are showing here. Tradepoint point of sale can process
sales into named accounts which is why more than one customer with open orders
may display when this prompt comes up.

Click on the correct
customer in the menu and click the Resume button. The sale will then show up in
the point of sale screen with any products that had previously been added to be
complete the sale.
