14.18 How to Create a Task in Tradepoint

There are two main
ways to create a Task in Tradepoint. From the Work Center simply click
the Create Task icon. The details window will open for you to
enter in the details of the Task and add any Guests or Employees if multiple
individuals are involved.
If a guest is
assigned to a Task then the task will also be associated with the contact.
A task can also be
created from a contact such as a Lead or Customer. When you have brought up the
contact file you would like to attach a Task to look for the Tasks
icon within the
toolbar for that contact. Clicking that Tasks icon will open a main screen where
any other tasks associated with that contact will be listed by Category. To
create a New Task associated with a contact click the New Task icon at the bottom right of the screen. The
details screen for the Task will open for you to complete and it will
automatically be associated with the contact you have opened the Task
in.
