14.42 How to create a Detailed Plan within a Project

Within Project
Management in Tradepoint a Detailed Plan is established within a Project
through the Detailed Plan icon. This section will allow you to set each
task and appointment in order to complete the Project. In the lower right hand
corner of the screen you will see a set of icons to establish the Detailed Plan
for your Project.
Each of these icons
gives you the ability to create the relevant tasks and appointments and import
any existing tasks and appointments as well. The delete icon gives you the
choice of deleting a task/appointment completely from the system or deleting it
from the Project but still maintaining the task/appointment in the system as
needing to be accomplished.
Each of the icons
above will open a window to fill in the details of a task/appointment, add any
documents and set the Category and any Reminders for the team members on the
Project.
When the details of
a task/appointment has been completed it will be listed in the overall detailed
plan complete with the GANT charting. Scrolling your mouse over any charted item
will reveal the details you entered in the details screen for a
task/appointment. This way you will not have to double click any of the charted
tasks/appointments to view the details.
