Australia Post eParcel Shipping Service

The Australia Post Shipping Service is required to
use the Australia Post Import and Export wizards. The shipping service
should be associated with any shipping methods that should be available for
export.
The Australia Post Shipping Service does NOT
provide live rate request or live scheduling; it is only an indicator for
determining Australia Post shipments and to manage application-wide settings for
the export wizard. Billing tables should be configured to provide shipping
rates.
If a shipping status email template has been set for
the division and "Send Status Email" is checked when completing the fulfillment
wizard, please not that the reference number for the shipment will not be
availble at this point. The Australia Post shipping service supports providing a
tracking link which will be used by the Import wizard to send out the completed
shipment status email. It is advised to either tailor your default shipment
email to not include a tracking link if you decide to allow the sending of the
email during fulfillment, or do not send an email during fulfillment.
Configuration Settings
Account No. - The Australia post account
number
Add Consignee To Address Book - If checked a flag will be passed in
the export to indicate that the consignee information should be added to the
eParcel applications address book
Print Phone No. On Label - If checked an
indicator will be passed in the export to indicate that the phone number should
be included on the label
Print Order Reference On Label - The order number is
always supplied as the Reference 1 value in the export, if this setting is
checked an indicator will be passed in the export to indicate that the Reference
1 value should be included on the label
Allow Service to Schedule Shipments -
Indicates if the shipping service will be active or not - this has no effect
upon the actual export of the shipment information by the export
wizard.
