Configuration Settings
Customer ID - your eWay merchant ID
Refund
Password - your eWay refund password, note: this is not the same as your
login to the eWay administration site. Only required if processing
refunds.
Use Test Service - If checked uses the test environment, note: the
test environment expects a specific credit card number, the cent value of the
transaction dictates the response.
Testing
eWay expects a specific credit card number and
customer ID to be used when testing. The response returned by the test
environment depends upon the cent value of the transaction. For example if the
cent value is 0 ($xx.00), the transaction will be approved if the submitted
values are valid, if the cent value is 06 ($xx.06) than the error code
06 - Error will be returned.
Note: Refunds are not supported by the eWay test
environment.
